Here’s the story. An eight year old kid gets a youtube account named lukeywes1234, and makes a video asking people to subscribe. He was shooting for 50 subscribers. People seemed to like his authentic personality and videos, so they subscribed. A website, 4Chan.org decided to ask people to subscribe and he reached 15,000 subscribers really quickly. Youtube took notice, and banned his account. Now, the owner of 4Chan.org is declaring Wednesday, January 6, 2010, Youtube porn day. He is asking people to create fake accounts and upload porn videos in retaliation for banning his account. Youtube’s explanation? Apparently, he violated the TOS by being too young. Youtube, you guys have to get your act together. Banning an account for a technicality is making you guys look like schmucks, and tomorrow, it’s going to cost you big money in hiring the extra employees you will need to take down those porn videos.
