Putting Real Important Issues Into Perspective

We’ve been reporting on the ongoing Tiger Woods scandal (of course, with our unbiased, in your face commentary) But, in the middle of these nonsense issues that the public just cannot get enough of, lets take a minute and observe this photo for one minute.

This is the great work of Pulitzer prize winning photo journalist, Kevin Carter taking images in Sudan back in 1993. It has been said that this photograph haunted him to the point that he later committed suicide.

In this particular part of the world, the Tiger Woods scandal does not carry much weight. Finding a meal and staying alive one more day is of more importance. As we read the latest gossip, take a minute to appreciate what you have. The most poverty stricken people in America still have it at least 10 times better than millions around the globe. My advice on the Nike corporation, which is Tiger Woods biggest sponsor: spend your millions sending aid workers, building schools and hospitals in poverty stricken areas. I would feel much better buying a Nike product knowing my money is going towards a great cause, rather than to fill the pockets of a womanizer and all around scumbag athlete, Tiger Woods.
