Ok, I bought into the hype and went to see this movie. It was touted my many as being one of the scariest films of all time. And the fact that it was made with a modest budget of $15,000 made it all more intriguing. I just had to see what can be done with that type of budget that can scare the living pants off you. After watching the movie in a packed theater, I can say, not much. Nothing is going to scare you about this film. They could have at least shot it using 24p film technology (today, even a $500 handy cam has it and it looks better than your standard 30 frame digital video. Overall, it was annoying to watch, the story was not beliveable at all, and the whole thing takes place in the home. I understand you are trying to keep it within budget, but give us a little backdrop. The main character is a stock broker in the film? Really, you wouldn’t know it from watching the movie. If you want to give up your hard earned money to watch this movie, go ahead. I don’t think it is even worth the price of a discounted movie rental.
